Have any felons out there been able to get licensed in real estate?

Thank you very much, this is extremely helpful. That’s exactly what they told me - they want everyone licensed because if I pick up the phone I can’t even answer questions about specific listing, unless it’s already public-facing information, in which case they wouldn’t be calling lol. Previously, before my felonies, I was a paralegal. I thought my experience and skills would be fairly transferable into this position, so I was really looking forward to this working out. Is that common to not background check administrative assistants in real estate? After so many no’s I’ve been avoiding applying for anything that says they background check, and I thought this might just be an oversight...but they never asked.
