I'm with Conspiracy Theory (Horde) on Blackrock.
Who We Are
We're "casual core" raid guild that's comprised mostly of real-life friends. We're currently 7/7H & 1/7 M.
We're nerds. We combat log every raid, upload them to Warcraft Logs, and study the shit out of "what went wrong". We also frequently record raids, and will watch particular fights to study what happened.
We take this game seriously, and don't waste people's time. Raids start and end promptly (often ending ahead of schedule). Raid decisions (ie: should we give this another 3 attempts, or just put it back on normal/heroic to down it?) are made via voting.
We have a history of clearing farm-status content VERY quickly, regularly clearing out raids on the first night to focus Thursday/Sunday on progression. Last week we killed eleven bosses in a three hour raid.
Loot is distributed via Loot Council, and is given based on performance, attendance, and need. Loot is never given via nepotism. We have players that consistently ranked in the top 10-15 percentile, and are looking to add players that can similarly rank.
Who You Are
You're a young professional that can make our raid times. You ideally have a history of killing internet monsters on upper-tier difficulty, can take constructive criticism, and know how to play whatever class(es) you're choosing to raid with. You pre-pot during boss attempts, care about the guild's success, and, when we're having trouble killing a boss, realize that at the end of the day this is a video game and we're actually people. You have professions and don't mind crafting/farming for the success of the guild. You understand that group success is more important than individual success.
You read patch notes and watch videos about fights before the raids starts. You want to raid with a group of people that do this as well. Additionally, you have a computer that doesn't run on a Dorito chip, a functional microphone and headset, and can commit to raiding through more than one raid tier in the next expansion. You have a consistent real-life work (or school) schedule, don't raid while impaired, and respect other people's time and feedback.
About Our Raids
Raid times are Tues/Thurs/Sun PST 6:00 - 9:00 (EST 9:00 - Midnight)
Raids start and end promptly at the times above. Our promise to you is that raids will never go past the scheduled end-time, and your promise to us is that you'll be online about 5-10 minutes before the raid starts, and be absolutely ready to go when you take your summon. If you cannot make a raid, you'll message me or an officer as soon as you know. We're available through a WIDE variety of messaging platforms, and I often give out my personal phone number.
Additionally, feasts, pots, and flasks are provided to all raiders free of charge during raids.
