I took it for free. A college audited it for me and I was able to get credits for it. It was good in the way that it let me know I did want to pursue IT (having no background in it)

The course is very informative and has some great simulations.

However. It does NOT prepare you for the A+. I’m currently going through Professor Messers videos and study notes for core 1 right now and they’re to the point. I also downloaded Dion’s practice exam’s for Udemy. These are both streamlined for A+ specifically.

Coursera is fine if you have time for it and don’t know if you want to pursue IT. It’s a lot of information and most of it went over my head, but I do think it’s super informative and in depth. The certificate itself isn’t worth much right now however.
