Does the trifecta (A+, Net+, Sec+) overqualify someone for help desk level 1?

I appreciate your response. I am not arguing that knowledge = experience. But I would argue that knowledge does provide the ability to learn on-the-job much better and faster than someone without the knowledge. I think that the trifecta gives someone a pretty extensive knowledge, and that this knowledge is somewhat overkill for the most basic of level 1 help desk jobs, like password resetting, creating new emails, following a troubleshooting script, etc.

I would also argue that knowledge and experience are definitely related in some way. Whether it is knowledge that provides the foundation for experience, or that knowledge itself will give you a much easier time when it comes time for the actual experiential or on-the-job practical stuff when you are actually working with whatever specific technology the company wants you to work with.
