Anyone else gone back to older GT games because of the grinding nature of GT7?

Once Forza Horizon is released for PC, my temptation to buy a PS5 for Gran Turismo 7 might just evaporate altogether.

Forza Horizon won’t be exactly the same racing experience I would be looking for compared to Gran Turismo, but Gran Turismo is honestly the only game I have any interest to play on PlayStation and Polyphony Digital is making the choice very easy with their half baked, not so micro microtransaction laden, still cannot sell cars beta edition.

Polyphony Digital must be getting dragged around by Sony with whatever this newest approach to Gran Turismo is, and I am gonna wait and see before I spend any money on an entire PlayStation 5 to play a single game.

I am a diehard Gran Turismo fan that even bought a Dreamcast for the purpose of playing Gran Turismo 2 on Bleemcast, so I guess if Polyphony cannot persuade old timers like me then they will have to rely on a newer crop of players who will tolerate these massive changes due to sheer ignorance.
