Has anyone ever seen a career advisor? And if so, how did you like it, and could they help you figure out what new career path you want to do?

I went to a guidance counselor in highschool. I made an appointment & went to see him and he wouldn't even look me in the eyes. He turned the chair and stared out the window. I asked him to help me prepare for college and he literally told me to forget about college and prepare to work at McDonald's. He said my D's were sympathy F's. He told me i was worthless to any employer. I picked up one of his desk-toys. He told me to put it down. I dropped it on the floor as I walked out. He retired that year. Our town's Facebook group started a big thread about how he treated their children like disposable shit the least year he was employed and how he deserved to have his psychology degree revoked.
