if you haven't played before here's some background. rust is fun this video is what got me into it

my first reaction was like Penis? ahh Perchase. and then my second thought was like "wait where's the girl characters" so i googled rust female characters. turns out they're implementing them. but it seemed tenuious whether we'd get them because there was all this backlash, like players straight freaking out that they might have to play female characters. because they don't identify blah blah blah... this is why you don't go to the rust subreddit. but the dev came addressed them with this statement. which i thought was pretty rad.

“To clear up some confusion, when we it does go live you won’t get a choice of whether you’re female or male. We’re not ‘taking the choice away’ from you. You never had a choice. A man’s voice coming out of a woman’s body is no more weird than an 8 year-old boy’s voice coming out of a man’s body.”

So I've been playing for awhile. at first I played a public server. (which is kind of like trial by fire.) and made friends really easily and we rekt everyone. three major clans, one right after another. a lot of it was my doing just putting together smart people. and then on the next wipe a particularly salty clan got my twitch id (not like I was hiding) and therefore all of my passcodes. so they were able to walk in my personal base and take it over as well as give my passcodes back to a clan that was rude to meh. so therefore created this server, a safe place for all of us to rust and then go out and rek shit up. we have full control. so, I hope your into it to.
