Anyone successfully applied Unemployment Benefits as Self Employed in Florida

I just answered to the best of my ability...I honestly don’t remember the questions but if you have specific questions on the application you’re curious about, I can help you with those! I did put that I was self employed for every question that asked...when it asked for my employer, I just put my name, as I’m a sole prop and don’t have a registered business name. I essentially answered questions as if I was my own employer.

Everything was done through the old connect portal. The new application portal they’ve recently rolled out is different, and I’m not sure if it’ll be the same process. I applied for my mom through the new portal and it doesn’t appear to be the same. However, I’ll let you know if I hear back about her application. If it’s the same as the old portal, you’ll have to be denied for state benefits first to be able to apply for the federal PUA benefits. Self employed individuals do not qualify for the state benefits. So the maximum you’d qualify for is $600 a week. I received $600. I’m not sure if that’s my weekly, bi-weekly or monthly benefit, as the disbursement isn’t reflected on my connect portal.
