Further both of your articles are referring to Tulum, over 75 miles north of Cancun. This conversation is about the hotel zone of Cancun being extremely safe. I know it must be hard for you to follow but the news articles today was about an area 15 miles south of Cancun. The hotel zone is protected and is safe for tourists. The locals will not mess with you because you are their revenue source. I won’t indulge more on details but hopefully you get my point. You can always just stay on your comfy couch and not travel to Cancun; it’s really your loss. Next time, try citing actual statistics backed by a credible source.
