Are the Falcons defensive problems coaching, players, or both?

Having a good defense is very difficult in the NFL. It really comes down to a combination of good coaching and a solid unit of healthy (emphasized) players. Think about how much teams invest in their offense and compare it to their defense. All of the star offensive players compared to a handful of well-known defensive players. Having a good defense doesn't make you a good team, either. Look back to our superbowl run. Our defense was mediocre, but our offense was high scoring, making defense irrelevant. Our defense need to be good enough to make critical stops, which they do a decent job at. Much better than the last few years. Our issue is the offense.
