I just had ma129 and bu127 both in the Fall semester. I went to most of the 127 lectures but found myself working on other assignments for other classes while I was sitting there. They were helpful in the sense that if you have Moore, he goes over and gives answers to weekly connect assignments. Never took accounting in high school and still passed both midterms and final.

MA129 was difficult for me. I did not take Calculus in high school either and although I went to almost all the lectures, I found it too fast paced and quite hard to keep up. I didn’t really understand what was going on most of the time. Howe does post completed lecture notes when the unit is finished, so I wouldn’t say they’re mandatory, it’s just based on how you learn.
