Why are luxury sports cars from the late 90s early 2000s soo cheap?

lol look at how many non jdm from the 00 are on the road these days. in the states you’ll find old classic american cars. in eu you’llfind old european cars but they all need extra attention maintenance to be kept in working conditions. and most are classics from 60-80s so they were garage kept. the beater ones from 00 are cheaper to fix because locally they are domestic. (not sure about eu cars)

you can daily a jdm for 30 years and it’s still gonna run like a champ with minimal problems. its not be cause german cars arnt reliable. they were when they were new. it’s just that when you compare them to jdm they aren’t as durable. because jdm is just too durable. i’m pretty sure some models of lexus toyota people drive these days will out live the owners. maybe even their kid or grandkid if they do the oil changes on time lol
