why are so many classes still only offered online???

I wish that more online classes were synchronous, I wish that we coulda put a pause on things to get professors time in online classes as students at universities that'd truly figured it out before we hit the pandemic, I wish we had a bigger variety of modalities, and more graduate teaching assistants who would grade on time with clear, effective comments. I get that they're busy as heck and probably undercompensated and I don't blame them for that: I blame the system that led us to this point.

Every time I hear a professor bitch about online classes, I can't help but think: your experience was running the same footage you recorded at the start of 2020 for the past three years; of course it's complete dog shit.
