Many GMA anchors and reporters are in the rainbow spectrum (pun intended) but a handful of them have not come out yet. Some may behave manly or feminine on cam but are very effeminate/boyish in the newsroom. Ang iba naman sangkot sa iba't ibang scandal, mapa-sexual, political o pinansyal.

Here are some I got from the grapevine: A) one male anchor who just turned 40 who has his own docu show who never hides his lamya ways in the newsroom. He had a crush daw on another GMA reporter when he was in another network. B) one male reporter is openly gay and sells feminine leather goods on his free time. Frequents gay bars in QC and Malate. C) one female reporter who is Muslim is a closet lesbo and could not come out because her family might kill her if she does. D) one regional reporter in Mindanao is openly gay. I was his schoolmate when I was about to graduate from university and he was a freshman. Talagang klarex na myembro sya ng federasyon during freshman orientation. Medyo halata ang pagkalamya nya during reports. E) the famous female host who has a very famous magazine show under her name, who acts very boyish in the newsroom at nagninitpick at naninigaw ng mga kawawang intern sa mga production meeting. She used to fling on fellow female colleagues back in her heydays as field reporter. F) a former reporter, now a pilot, left his journo career because apparently one exec wanted to get it on with him so that he can extend his career as a reporter. He is famous for his closing spiel that mentions his first name like forever. G) another former reporter lost his job because he verbally assaulted a female student during a college seminar workshop. Ironically, he now works in the academe as a college professor. H) a famous regional anchor/radio commentator in Visayas who recently passed away was a frequent target of politicians because he used to do exposés of their wrongdoings in public. Malapit nang makulong because of a scandal involving the governor of the province. On the other hand, kilala rin syang ladies man at pumapatol ng mga babae tuwing may inuman. I) a former regional anchor in Mindanao who is now a councilor used to have a stint in GMA Manila and then decided to return home after he was allegedly offered a lucrative TV stint with a huge salary in exchange for a one night stand with a GMA exec. J) some showbiz reporters ng GMA nanunuyo ng malaking tip from their "reliable sources", pati panandaliang aliw, para makakuha ng scoop. Lalo sa senior nila na talagang pinaninindigan na "updated sa showbiz happenings". K) male reporter who moonlights as a DJ para sa extrang kita, madalas nagkakagig sa mga night club sa Maynila under a nondescript stage name. 5 figures minsan ang tinitip sa kanya. Para daw sa kanyang anak na may sakit. L) may mga GMA employees who worked in the 90s became victims of Aman Futures and Francswiss, and still paying off their debts until today.
