Are you more susceptible to flats on escooters then on a bike?

I think the issue is more that bicycle tires are more modern tech, sort of like how motorcycles are often a decade or two behind cars. Scooter tires are generally the same tires used on small carts and strollers, where they experience much lower loads and strain than on a scooter. Quality modern bicycle tires, as I understand it, often have a puncture-resistant coating on the inside, and tubeless tires are apparently beginning to appear. Scooters meanwhile use simple molded rubber around a generic inner tube. If you bought only the cheapest tires available for your bicycle, you might see the same frequency of punctures as people do on scooters.
