I think we are over-emphasizing the piglet blame

However he hasn't really meshed with his supports these few years. There was a whole thing with xspecial and matt doesn't seem to be have good synergy with him either. He also as a whole isn't the most cooperative or lenient player, preferring a style where he carries. When he played with pooh mandu, the guy could reign him in. But that's been unsuccessful at liquid.

I feel like this point is a bit unfair to Piglet as an ADC, and I think that the source of this is a mentality issue that's furthered perpetuated by coaching and development. The way I see Piglet is that he's an extremely sharp knife, honed for one type of play that can be among the world's best in some metas and lackluster in others. However, when the meta changes Piglet has always taken a role in the background whether it was moving down to TLA due to Dardoch, where he played his usual champs, or the lethality changes this season which caused the role change. Playing that one style leads to lower statistics and perceived weaker synergy, even if you don't consider his support players also having some performance issues.

It's important for him and Team Liquid to make him more rounded as a player, similar to how DL also grew from being the 1v5 CLG carry to who he is today. The difference in playstyles was apparent when he played for TL, even as we were switching to a more carry meta in 7.5. I certainly think it's possible for Piglet to grow as a bot laner and continue to be top 2 regardless of the meta, but he needs the environment and coaching to do so.

If he wants to continue playing mid, that's also fine by me, but in terms of his ADC play that's what I observe as the core of his performance issues. That's what I hope to see get fixed if he decides to go back to bot lane.
