Agreed. I love the abundance of content. Although I absolutely loathe the 2008 clone wars series. I hate how it has made this subreddit into a circle jerk of nothing but praise for it even though I think Darth Maul surviving is as stupid as palpatine surviving if not more and I hate how the echo chamber downloads any dissenting opinions like a hive mind. Doesn't change the fact that I love the prequel era and the 2003 clone wars. Which I vastly prefer and consider Canon while not considering the 2008 series canon. Especially minor grievances like Dave filoni often sidelining movie characters like Cody who is always getting injured or outsmarted by Rex, a forced insert character. Like how Darth Maul is every Reddit edgelord's self insert right down to the black lightsaber and ruling mandalore as the cringe King. Sorry for the long winded rant though, I do like some of the moments that spotlight minor Jedi like mundi and kit fisto but why did Mundi have commander jet instead of Bacara? And The series would have us believe 501st legion is the only clone battalion that fought in the war. Participating in like 99% of the battles while the rest are incompetent Cannon fodder. Despite the very finite and small numbers of the clone army in comparison to the droids which would have won a war of attrition.

Blows my mind how people hate the politics of the prequels though. I found it intriguing even as a kid and love the story of a thousand years of planning moving a sith Lord into a position of political power only for him to turn on his own master while simultaneously controlling both sides of the war until the Republic was an unstoppable force, then killing everyone who was his pawns and ruling with absolute power on an empire meant to crumble after his death so no one else would rule.

It's a shame Disney had to.. do what they did.. although no Star wars media is perfect. For example the mandalorian gets constant praise because fan service, flashy visuals and all that stuff distracts from the atrocious writing..

Again sorry for ranting, my opinions aren't really allowed on this Reddit and I've been banned before for saying Darth Maul surviving is stupid and anyone who thinks him surviving is okay but palpatine isn't is a hypocrite. I think both of them are equally stupid.

Thanks for putting all the effort into everything you've said to me and sorry for my rants but I appreciate the effort friend. You are strong and wise and very powerful, a finer Jedi than most could hope to be.
