Anakin and TCW Anakin and I are not the same. It has nothing to do with metal peaks or how Anakin was depressed most of the time. Anakin in the show is extremely extroverted, while Anakin in the prequels is extremely introverted unless he feels completely comfortable with you. The way he talks to Padme, he seems very insecure and completely obsessed with her. In the show, he seems to share that obsession and love with multiple people, and Padme almost seems like an afterthought. Obi-wan and him were very clearly friends, but in the movies, it was made clear that he had a certain resentment for him. In the show, he seems completely comfortable with his teachings. You get into how Anakin deals with his anger and feelings in general. Anakin in the clone wars has a very much more typical masculine rage than what's shown in the media. Anakin in the movies would probably cry if he saw Padme with Clovis, for example; he's a total whiny and highly emotional kid in a man's body. Then you could talk about the voice difference and stuff, but at the end of the day, the characterizations are very different.
