I am not interested in the semantics of the word. Frankly I don't give a fuck if I use words that some people think are inappropriate. I definitely use worse words than that all the time anyway. I am not a politically correct person, but I am respectful of all people.

I never even have a reason to say the word out loud anyway. I don't talk to people about my habit and if I ever do discuss sex work (there... Happy?) with someone and use the word "prostitute" they obviously know what I am talking about. I am not standing in parliament here trying to pass any laws, if I was then maybe I would use the term sex workers, but I am not so in that case I will say it whatever way I want to.
