Beta release date?

The basic mechanics of. game. play. have not been tested. The core simulation mechanics that. make. this. a. simulation. game. are woefully incomplete and will be in the beta, but have not. been. in. the. alpha. to a degree that is worth calling the game "the next evolution" or "simulation evolved" or "redefining the genre".

The actual meat of the game has not been implemented or mass tested yet. The gameplay of the game is not scenery building. It is not coaster building. It is not sharing blueprints. It is managing and maintaining a theme park with a functioning economy and in depth simulation between all aspects of those things you can build and place and design and modify and customize and flesh out. That stuff has not been implemented in a final state in the Alpha and has not been tested by us.

If you are confident that the final game will be exactly the same as right now but with more scenery and rides, then I feel sorry for you, because that game won't be any good. Planet Coaster, as a simulation game, right now, in alpha 3, is not a good simulation game. The guests come in droves to parks that simply have one stall set up and no rides. They are happy and prosperous and your park can get hundreds of people if not thousands without placing a single ride. The mechanics of proper gameplay are not there.
