I’m so sorry you had your surprise ruined! It’s very hard to wait to tell and to have someone ruin it for you is so crappy.

I also had to tell someone about it because they were being difficult and they said something to someone else that I don’t like or trust. I’ve had to tell more people than I wanted to earlier because I don’t want them to hear it through the grapevine (I felt like that’s been ruined for me too). This person has been insane- adamant that I’m having a girl knowing I want a boy, trying to take over my shower (which isn’t even being planned yet), telling me conflicting info on what is normal and what’s not (fear inducing), they even keep calling my squish their baby. So, reading this I feel for you- I know what you’re going through.

I’m sure that if you explained to your boyfriend why it was so important to share the news yourselves he would understand. This was the only big family announcement you got and you felt like that was ruined- I would be upset too!

At the end of the day this is your pregnancy and your baby! It’s so exciting! Try not to get caught up in their drama- enjoy your developing baby and take care of yourself. :)
