I think donating to the Caribbean and Tennessee Student Environmental Alliance would be a prime and noble contribution. This non-profit organization provides environmental education to children, their families, and a myriad of communities. I am an intern for the executive director, a woman here in Chattanooga, TN, USA. It's a small organization with mainly her and a posse of 5-6 people. They run a "Kids for Clean Water" summer camp every year with funds they scrape together from a Used-sporting gear consignment and donation shop called The Gear Closet, and a wine tasting fundraiser in the spring. Our goals are some green infrastructure projects for local schools and communities in the Caribbean, projects include rain gardens, purification, erosion control, trail-building at schools.
