Blizzard: "I want to be clear: our relationships in China had no influence on our decision." Also Blizzard:

Goes to show how desperately Blizzard is trying to cover up, with the above an official statement from them directed to mainland China just a few days ago. While some people will say that they do not wish to entangle with politics or that it does not affect them, being neutral to a stance can also be considered as a political decision. As Desmond Tutu said, "If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor. If an elephant has its foot on the tail of a mouse and you say that you are neutral, the mouse will not appreciate your neutrality".

Also to note as mentioned in other discussions is how the new statement was released on a Friday evening, as if to hide it from everyone with other worldwide news and hope people forget about it over the weekend. It is absolute PR bullshit.

Any discussion on the topic spreads awareness to the crisis people are facing, every voice matters. While there has been a ton of western corporations that have openly sided with China, discussions here and here, don't forget that TikTok (which is widely popular) is owned by a massive Chinese conglomerate named "ByteDance" and supports the CCP. Yes, western corporations as of late have been taking the heat for forgoing human rights for economical gain but TikTok, whom censors what goes against the Chinese government worldwide, has flown under the radar.

Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.
