If the Patriarchy is a system made by men to benefit men then why is the retirement age for women across so many countries lower than men?

have lower levels of emotional resilience

I actually find that point interesting, because you can interpret as how patriarchy handles people being out of range regarding patriarchal ideals. In my case, being a non-manly man/transman, being emotional, caring, emphatic isn't in the line of their classic expectations for them. In my opinion, it's not feminists fault, that non-gender-consistent men/transmen are treated like crap, but it's the influence of patriarchy on humanity. I guess, it also influenced feminism to some extend (advocating to be more reckless to punish the weak, including jokes against men etc). It sells.

It will always get it's claws onto progressive ideas as long it won't be abolished entirely. I personally fear manliness, it's the demise of humanity. But I have no issue with trans*men, I love you people. I have a self-loath. Broken psyche. Also depression. The system makes me sad. I am unhappy in this patriarchal world. I can see it.

but I don't think this off-hand invalidates patriarchal theory.

Agreeing.
