The game plays EXACTLY like a Mario platforming game, except the right key is held down.

I have to do a doubletake when you very trendy haters make statements like this.

Mario Run is NOTHING like Subway Surfer and standard runners! It's a side scroller, which is VERY OUT OF THE ORDINARY in the runner genre, who nearly all use the 3d third person behind perspective to run into the horizon, not run at the right of the screen.

As I do mario jumps to get mario coins to get all of the stars to unlock the next level, I have to wonder what "mario" games the haters have actually played.

It's just ridiculous how little any of you appear to know about these games and the genres they're in, it's like watching a group of people who have never done a thing viciously argue about why its terrible. I don't get it.

I bet 95% of the people in this thread have less than 30 minutes clocked to ALL RUNNERS, period.
