Yea, shadow Blade is the closest you'll get to the fluid and fast paced action platforming of Grimvalor. It's pretty shallow in comparison, but still fun to play through when nothing else is challenging your reflexes like Grimvalor did.

If Demon Hunter: Shadow World looked cool to you, then BlazBlue is worth a try. Anime isn't my aesthetic either, but you'll forget that as soon as you see the control scheme. It's all gestures, no buttons on the left side of the screen. The combination of context specific taping and directional swiping is very intuitive and can result in some really cool and complex combos. It's free, so It wouldn't hurt to give it a shot.
