Crime rate and incarceration rate is increasing? I don't know where you getting your data from or what you're using as a baseline.
Incredibly corrupt government? I think the ALP has been in power for too long in Queensland, they only won because Newman lost. They certainly haven't done much, but the accusations of corruption are baseless.
Zero real economy? I'm not defending that. Queensland has almost no head offices of any significant international companies. I'd argue an unhealthy percentage government or government owned entities in bureaucratic roles, and an over reliance on commodities.
cant see that bureaucratic meddling and property speculation could be exports. no idea what you mean there.
Immigration and tourism has been vastly shut down because of Covid and because a lot of tourists don't have the spare cash.
Now more expensive than Melbourne? In what specific area? There are a lot of people who are very unhappy with the way that Dan Andrews managed the Covid pandemic.
Collapsing education? Education is a significant portion of government spending. Queensland is spread over an enormous geographical area making delivering public education very difficult.
not going to argue with any points here. The tertiary education sector (as a whole in Australia commercialised to quickly and under-delivers.
Extreme nanny state with rules against everything enforced completely arbitrarily? Queensland has a tradition of legislating issues that are not systemic. While voters respond to fear campaigns neither side of politics politics will address this.
Collapsing healthcare system? Again, Health is the other significant area of government funding. Most frontline healthcare operators do a fairly decent job. What is happening in Queensland is happening all over the world. The bleeding of funds and resources away from front-line services to third parties and administration.
This is complete speculation... you need to get out more. Queensland infrastructure is in very good condition. The double dipping with selling infrastructure to toll operators is however a travesty.
Collapsing, expensive telecommunications structure? There's nothing to do with state governments. Again we have a relatively small population over a very large area so delivering telecommunications services is always going to be difficult.
Wants to host the Olympic Games. yes, dumb idea. But the premier likes a bit of sport and a beer.
Tapwater causes recurring giardiasis and gut problems? Brisbane water is world class. heavy, but safe. If you have particularly sensitive gut flora you should be drinking tapwater.
