British ministers cut off funding to chip factory after sale to China

Ah yes, the belt and road initiative. So my opinions on this:

It’s good for the less developed parts of the world. One downside is they have to navigate through less stable countries. What I would really like is for the US and China to compete in this initiative. Imagine how far we can take these lesser fortunate countries if two economic superpowers were involved? Unfortunately the unites states is more focused on military in those areas I spoke about. The other downside to bnr is that China is currently taking a “friendly” approach to these proceedings. This could change in an instant, and they would basically become the US of the east in terms of military involvement. It all sounds good until it goes downhill...
