He wasn't doing dabs at 14, he started smoking at 14, which makes me think he never stopped until he died; story sounds like a classic, started with a puff a day, ended up with .25g dabs a night. He was hooked, at such a young age he would've needed some good rehab to kick that stuff.

This is just plain addiction, and shame on this mother for not being able to see it, she had nearly 4 years of guardianship where she could've taken this kid into rehab. I know 14 year-olds can be unruly, but they are STUPID, and you have full control over their lives. The fact that she knew he started at 14 makes me think the problem really was her, she must've been negligent. And now that her son is gone, that's when she begins to care the most, and in the worst way possible.
