Hey there, I need some help please. I'm kind of a noob at this but i thought i would have this figured out by now.

Why is it when i download a guitar plugin like one from the Neural DSP page for example, it never sounds as good as what people show in YouTube videos when they are demoing the latest Neural DSP whatever plugin?

The guy in the video will just plug straight in, turns on the plugin, and it sounds great. I do exactly the same and it sounds like muddy butthole.

I'm just going Guitar > Focusrite Scarlett Solo > PC and using Presonus headphones to listen, no monitors.

Everything else sounds fine through these headphones, Spotify, YouTube, Facebook etc, not a problem, all the audio and music sounds nice and clear, but when i try and use a guitar plugin, it never sounds as clean and bright as what everyone else seems to be getting.

Anyone? Please? Sad face
