CTD means crash to desktop. A page file is a portion of the hard drive which the operating system will write data to if running low on memory. If the page file is too small, and there isn't enough memory, then programs may crash. I'm not saying that is your problem, but it seems to have helped my situation. In particular my system doesn't have dedicated video memory, the integrated graphics processor shares the same system memory.

The point is, there can be a lot of different things going wrong. If you're sure you followed the guide completely to the letter, then there might be something else specific to your system which is causing the incompatibility.
