I'm an Egyptian who got into an IVY ED1 with a much less impressive profile than yours. I would honestly say don't waste your profile on ED'ing to lower tiers. I know it can be frustrating and u just want to make sure that u end up in the US eventually, but honestly, just aim higher in ED2. For ED2, I would say shoot your shot at UChicago. If u can get the quirky essay right and have a strong PS, then u have a really solid chance. For the RD, m8, it's good to have some safeties, but at least include 2-3 ivies. Just make sure u give the essays your best. Essays are hands down the second most important factor (after the academics) in deciding whether u get in or not. Lots of people can score high on the ECs, but a much less proportion get both a high score on the ECs and personality.
