Chance me for UMaryland, Syracuse, Penn State

Not an expert, but I'm going into college in a month and I applied & looked a bunch of the same schools, so I'll give some input.

Penn State: I know a lot about Penn State, I desperatdly wanted to go their for a long time. I would say your chances are slim. PSU out of State is really though to get into and with your stats, I'd say its unlikely. PSU is a very numbers driven school, from what I've heard they look at your GPA first, SAT second & EC's last. I wouldn't get your hopes up for PSU, for reference I'm in state (89% acceptance rate from my HS to PSU) had 3.5, 1950 and got denied.

Odds: 4/10

Syracuse: Also know a lot about SU, I'm going their in a 3 weeks. From who I've talked to & my experince SU is more holistic. You have some pretty good EC's and if you can write a good essay that will help. Your Stat's are a little below average but nothing that I'd say is a deal breaker. I had a college advisor and she told me SU would be a reach with my stats (mentioned above), but low and behold I got in. I know a bunch of people with much better stat's then I that got denied. From my experince they seem a little iratic but I would give your shot a 50/50.

Odds: 5/10

Maryland: A lot of my family went to Maryland and a few freinds of mine are going. I definitly wouldn't count on it.

Odds: 3/10

Vilanova: I wouldn't count on it, your stat's just aren't where they need to be for safe bet at Nova. The only people that I know from my school that got in where children of employees. I'd say slightly worse then 50/50.

Odds: 4/10

Stetson University: Don't know a ton, but I do know one person going and if he is any judge then I'd say your a lock. A quick look at the stats, makes me think so too.

Odds: 8/10

SUNY Cortland: Don't know a ton about Cortland either, but I would feel confident about your chances if I where you.

Odds: 7/10

These are my estimations, I'm not an expert but I spent a ton of time looking at college data. I would say that you will likely get into at 3, maybe more, but I will also say that you will likely get denied by at least 2. I'd recomend checking out Temple. It's good school, cheap and you'd very likely get in. I know a bunch of people going and I looked at them. Best of luck.
