Clocked owners post open letter in response to recent events

2) yes in the way they were pitting us against each other. It was ridiculous to say that a Tuesday morning server is not as skilled as a Saturday night because the latter made more money.

3) wiling with a rag that’s been sitting in sanitizer water (which was never changed every two hours).

5) I was absolutely not implying sexually. There’s other ways to be inappropriate. As another redditor said, some staff were clear favorites and worked leadership positions despite being bullies or displaying some other unacceptable behavior.

There are so many more grievances that led to us walking out. We read all these to Dave two weeks ago. Over the last two weeks, tried to organize as an union and present a list of demands to the owners and management. They did not accept our terms.

The reason why we were not public about the walkout or what led up to it was that 1) we wanted to keep the union on the DL and 2) we still have friends who work at clocked who are in very difficult financial situations. Their livelihoods still depend on that job.
