Coach tells walk-on kicker that he’ll get a full ride if he nails a 53-yard field Goal

The US has 158 million workers.

If we go with a rate of $10,000 a year (average in state tuition and fees, does not include room and board), that's $200 BILLION per year.

Spread across 158 million taxpayers, that's an increase in taxes of $1,265 per year.

The median personal income is $31,000 per worker. Half of all workers in the US make less than that.

And that's a low estimate for total cost and leaves out room and board.

Norway has a working population of 3,445,000. At 250,000 students and $10,000 a year, that's a total cost of $725 per Norwegian taxpayer.

It would cost nearly double the amount per taxpayer to implement it in the US.
