How deluded can you actually be. These will only sell if nvidia lets them sell and nvidia isn’t able to supply all demand. At the same price point the 4080 is clearly the far superior card meaning that nvidia will always have the oppurtunity to cut prices to match AMD even though i doubt they wil have to. And lets face it most of the gamers would rather pay a 20% premium for the nvidia brand all things being equal so they will surely find the extra money somewhere for an actually superior nvidia card. People willing to spend 1000 bucks on a gpu card wont mind an additonal 200 bucks for much better ray tracing and a card that runs cooler, is less noizy and more efficient, i mean like there is a reason why the 4090 is outselling the 4080 4 to 1. People willing to spend that amount of money on a gpu card will only want the best and no one will even consider spending 1000 bucks on a card with shit ray tracing, shit productivity, that is hot and loud and only gives just marginally better raster performance for only a 17% price cut. This is beyond bad and i would bet my house this will be a major disappointment, even more so than the zen 4. When people complain about nvidia valuation as compared to AMD they should really remember that they seem to be a monopoly in the gpu space and that no one seem to be even close to competing with them. This is such a major disapointment, the 7000 series were meant to close the gap to nvidia but here we are, still shit at ray tracing, and whats worse, this time we dont even have any card to go up against NVIDIAs top of the line card.

Holy shit what a disappointment. Also why the hell would the AMD marketing team spend so much time talking about how efficiency is so important to them when the competition has a far more efficent card and why the fuck would they say that the cards would give up to 70% better performance when that number clearly is an extreme outlier and the real number is much closer to 35%. Most gamers expected between 50-70% gains over the 6950xt and more efficient cards than NVIDIAs, so it is completely understandable they are disappointed with this. I know the dgpu market is insignificant for AMDs total revenue but what is far more worrying here is that just like for zen4 they are botching up yet another anticipated product launch in the client space. The x3d CPUs better be good.
