Have you ever felt times that you just want to give up SS? I've been playing since 9/27 and I feel like the game dried up for me by January. I stopped progressing. My luck came in the form of Muspels, Jheets, Tylers, and Gerolds. For goodness sake, I could have full sup of each of them, including Celus had I not sent them as ST fodder for more mainish units.
I originally started with a WW team...makes sense right? Early meta was filled with WW players...WW or die. And then I didnt have Jin or a Striker of any sort. Magnus didnt exist yet. And then December facebook gift draws...Guinevere and Blade. I invested into Blade, found out she was shit, and then invested into Guin who I found could work surprisingly well. I was instantly ridiculed for even suggesting a Guin striker was even remotely possible. So I created a sub-religion to keep me hooked. I vowed and went to great lengths to ensure that I could make it to Gold pre rebirth and whatnot..plat diamond whatever was the limit...just to show people Guin striker works. Eventually I lost sight of the game. I faced so much shit from fellow community members (from people I would dub trolls and flamers; yes I know I should ignore them but it still gets to you...whats worse is that other members believe them more over you, because they are higher ranked) even the praise and hopefulness of the few fellow bellyvers was not yet enough to sustain me. What made matters worse was the fact that what had originally been my 'midline' that I invested in became my frontline. Whereas I once had a full supped Guin Vero and Nera in my midline, they all find themselves in front now. My mid and back are so weak, my Kei is ohko for most strikers (900 hp too weak) with no build whatsoever...
I'm in constant limbo as Thunder has been nerfed, the strength of pure Thunder aces has been stolen (Hiro), there is lack of a good GK...and I'm missing Bell, who is pivotal to Thunder chains. On the WW side I finally have Bea but am missing Magnus and Jin.
Anyone else feeling the down low? Blues? Burnt out? I've just woke up today and realized that SS has ceased to become fun for me and I derive more stress than I am relieving. To top that off, so many games I am getting Legendary worth drops and the best SS gives me is a Celus.
