Daniel Bryan's HOF Speech Edited

I don't see a problem with being reminded to get our heads out of our asses sometimes and start seeing the world and other human beings for what they are. Wrestling fans get so wrapped up in the booking and the psychology and the "meaning" of what it is that wrestlers do that they seem to, at times, lose sight of life and what the whole thing really is, the wrestling business that is, which is a con. I've loved the sport for over 33 years and no matter how high the high or how low the lows I've never forgotten that it is a con. No different than Walking Dead, Mad Men, Breaking Bad, The Soprano's, or anything else like it. It's a con. So when we have to stop and actually remember that a life has passed from this to the next (no matter what you believe) we often times have a very hard time remembering that true life begins when the ring lights dim. How else do explain all the people who still proclaim the innocence of Chris Benoit? or the fact that he just MUST go in the HOF or else the entire institution.... blah-blah-blah... I have no issue with what Bryan said, as I was embarrassed for the fans in attendance to not get the point and start chanting for Bryan. Hell, it took them how long before they started chanting for "Crusher"? Too long. It goes to show that whatever spirit of charity the WWE is trying to impart to their fans is not working as it should. It goes to show that all this shit about charities and fundraising is simply a publicity ploy meant to deflect attention from the company as a whole. It's the oldest trick in magic: Watch the right hand while left hand fools you. It's really not that hard to see, and frankly I supported what Bryan said and disagree with this edit.

So, in other words, edit anything that makes me think or calls my beliefs in to question or challenges my behavior. GREAT!! Now just don't EVER touch my Benoit or Snuka shit. They may have killed some people, but they make ME happy. Great idea....
