De-Mudding the Tacoma

This hurts me to my soul to watch this done to a truck that probably cost $50K. I understand that it's an off-road vehicle and you may not be overly concerned about scratches, but be nice to your baby and take pride, as it is not good for your clear coat to blast abrasive particles on it.

Not to mention if it's hiding a paint chip underneath there, you could really regret it.

You should gently rinse off the excess dirt and use soap to get the rest. I actually have a foamer attachment on my pressure washer to blast the soap on it.

I mean, I guess go for it if you really don't care, but it makes me cringe seeing these "satisfying" videos where proper care isn't being taken of the paint job below it.
