His "point" was basically 'I know what's in their hearts, I know they couldn't possibly be legitimately excited for LotV, I know they're only doing it for the money, because I'm psychic.' Lycan points out "maybe it's genuine excitement", but The Incredible Destiny reads all of their minds and says 'nope, they could only possibly be coming back this for the cash.' He's got an opinion and damned if he's going to actually ASK them why they're coming back; better to just decide FOR them.

He talks about how nobody stood by him and used their reputations and positions in the community to back him up, but he just burns bridges and pisses people off too much for anyone to WANT to back him up. It's amazing how shitty the world looks when you refuse to believe in any possibility other than shitty ones, and how when you want to shit all over people instead of giving them fair consideration none of them will want to have your back. It's almost like nobody likes assholes, and acting like an asshole endears you to nobody.

Why would you need to "trust" an entertainer to keep entertaining you, and especially to keep entertaining you in the same way? People play video games because they're FUN. The things Destiny says about what he expects from these people make it seem as if he thinks that if you ever at any point had fun making Starcraft 2 content you now owe it to the community to sink your life into building it up and making it thrive and anyone who doesn't contribute as much as he arbitrarily decides that they should is just in it for the money. Screw people who get excited for a fun new expansion and want to put out content for it, and screw them again if they stop putting out content after it's not fun anymore, right? What matters is that they're not as passionate as he is, and so that means they're only in it for the money, because REASONS.
