Why diablo immortal getting so much hate?

So I really want to stick up for Blizzard here. Really, I do. I'm not interested in the game, because I don't want to play action games on my phone, but I'm totally willing to shrug and let it be, and let anyone who wants to play it enjoy it. I'll just play the next PC Diablo game when it comes. Cool.

But their response to the reaction is pretty bad, and I can't defend them. Censoring negative comments, deleting and reuploading the trailer video to erase the dislikes, and their response to the announcement getting booed ('Do you guys not have phones?') was not the response to take to a disappointed fanbase.

I think a lot of the hate is way overblown (just don't play it, people), but I get why people feel let down, and Blizzard's response isn't helping. This is a company that used to be able to do wrong, and the bar was set pretty high, but it's like they're not even trying to live up to it.
