Did needing to find more meaning in life have anything to with Bourdain's death? Was he not fulfilled traveling the world?

I don’t have much of a background in hard science psychology, but I’m a huge Tony Bourdain fan and can just offer my perspective. I don’t think the money and fame had anything to do with his death. He fell into a dark place and felt betrayed. For whatever reason he didn’t reach out and no one suspected how bad his mental health was. This is a guy who beat drug addiction cold turkey and had enough money to retire so it’s really not a question of life fulfillment. Lots of wealthy famous people die from suicide or drug overdoses. Mental health for some people is just fragile. I just finished the second watch of Parts Unknown from beginning to end and I would have never predicted this was a guy who would have a mental health crisis over a breakup with a woman. It just goes to show how appearances are deceptive with people. Rest in peace Tony B - you were a hard working tough son of a bitch who made it to 61 and lived a great life.
