All the reviews are positive because BPS has a rewards system for reviews and such, and you can also get rewards when people use your discount code. It's pretty sketchy, but you can't argue with cheap.

Here's my honest review of BPS: I've ordered things from them several times, and despite their giant banner, not a single time has my order shipped within 24 hours. It's more like 1-3 weeks, and sometimes the items you ordered will have mysteriously gone out of stock within that time. Once your order ships, your tracking number (if you paid for it) will take about a week to become active. Once it does, it will provide little information; basically, "Your package is still in China," or "Your package has left China." Then, your package will spend 1-3 weeks in customs, after which your tracking number will finally be worth the $3 it costs until you get your goodies.

When you open your package, there's about a 15% chance that what you receive will be slightly different than what you ordered or just wrong/missing entirely. Whether that's acceptable is up to you. (The last time this happened to me, it was a watch, and the difference made the watch hard to read. In my line of work, it's important to be able to read the time quickly, so that was not okay.) If it's not acceptable, contact customer service. If my 3 previous interactions are any indication, they will make it right. It will just take a while, and you may have to send several emails. Wait at least 2-3 days in between to allow for back log and the time difference, and remember that they take like a month long holiday for the Chinese New Year.

The Y plates and BP plates are pretty good quality, the QA plates are decent (I get clean transfers but they feel light/cheap in hand), and the m plates are not worth the money. I purchased several of the "mystery plate grab bag" sets and got lots of the "m" plates, and they were poorly etched. I couldn't even tell what the images are supposed to be.

Anyway, that's a long-winded review/summary of the Born Pretty Store. I wish someone had given me the straight talk before I ordered the first time. If you're willing to put up with the bullshit false advertising and lack of transparency, and order knowing that your items won't arrive for at least 1-2 months (and you can actually wait that long), the deals are pretty good!
