Who is the best ILB in the Draft? Maybe not Eric Kendricks

I can keep going if you want. I'll only use guys from 2013:

90%+ players from the charts on Imgur:

  • Desmond Trufant: Very solid starter.
  • BW Webb: Under 200 snaps in NFL. Backup. Not good.
  • Jamar Taylor: Under 350 snaps in NFL. Backup. Not good.
  • Margus Hunt: Below average starter.
  • Terron Armstead: Solid starter.
  • Lane Johnson: Very solid starter.
  • Vinston Painter: Zero NFL snaps. Practice squad.
  • Reid Fragel: Zero NFL snaps. Practice squad.
  • Christine Michael: Backup (#3).
  • Knile Davis: Backup. Okay.
  • Josh Boyce: Practice squad.
  • TJ Moe: Practice squad. No longer in NFL.
  • Markus Wheaton: Average starter.

Those are all the guys in the 90%+ from the 2013 draft I found listed. Now here are some of the guys that scored below the 30% (too many scored that low to list all). Below 30% is considered awful.

  • Travis Frederick - 2nd team all-pro.
  • Micah Hyde - solid starter/contributor.
  • Tyrann Mathie - very solid starter.
  • Johnathan Banks - below average starter.
  • Demetrius McCray - solid starter.
  • William Gholston - solid backup.
  • Sylvester Williams - average backup.
  • Jordan Hill - solid backup.
  • Larry Warford - top five guard in the league.
  • Alec Ogletree - solid starter.
  • Ricky Wagner - very solid starter.
  • Jordan Mills - starter, not good though.
  • Johnathan Franklin - fine until injury.
  • DeAndre Hopkins - solid starter.

Just saying man. I see no patterns here at all.

Some guys with high SPARQ scores play well in the NFL.

Some guys with high SPARQ scores are shit in the NFL.

Some guys with low SPARQ scores play well in the NFL.

Some guy with low SPARQ scores are shit in the NFL.

I see zero evidence to say that SPARQ scores have any indication of how well someone is going to play in the NFL.

Also, all of this from the guy who thinks PFF is completely dismissible? Seriously?..
