E-cigarettes emit harmful chemicals, research suggests: Researchers found as e-cigarettes get hotter the more toxic emissions they give off

My problem with the article is that the title is framed in a way as if to say that it's just as bad as smoking; "e-cigarettes emit harmful chemicals" to a person who didn't read or understand the entire article means "e-cigarettes are cigarettes."

It may turn off people who might have been able to switch to a less harmful overall habit, or possibly quitting.

If you don't believe that people will take 1% of information and extrapolate it out to where they think they're an expert on the subject, how many Americans think global climate change is a scam simply because it gets cold in winter again?

I'm not an expert on any type of science, but it doesn't take a rocket surgeon to know that if your title isn't written properly, then you're being misleading at best.

A better way to put it IMHO would have been: "E-cigarettes emit smaller number & quantity of harmful chemicals than traditional cigarettes, can still be harmful." Or at least a variation on that. The science is okay, the title is pure clickbait.
