ELI5: What happened between Russia and the rest of the World the last few years?

Fuck yes Russia is made up of those demographics. Dude, DUDE...what fucking planet do you live on where you're schooling a russian about his own motherland and talking shit about the US like you're a fucking American.

Lets talk about a country of privilege. CANADA. You sit your ass up there in a country damn near as large as Russia or China, with about 10% of the population of the US. You guys are homogenous as fuck, the great WHITE NORTH. Your cops don't fucking murder black folks who's only crime most of the time is being black, you don't GO TO WAR EVERY 5 YEARS. You have socialized medicine, one of the best quality of public services in the world, your chance of having canada ever invaded militarily is >0% due to your proximity of the US and your own military power. Economically Canadas middle class has flourished in the last 10 years more than any other period in history and you're going to sit your ass up there and debate about how bad Russia is? About how most Americans think that nuking Japan was justified. FUCK YES IT WAS JUSTIFIED - IT STOPPED THE WAR. Ask a Russian how he feels about what the Germans did to his people in WW2. He may not like America - but you're fucking right Russia prayed for an end to that war, and by far and large they defeated the 3rd Reich on their own (Molodyets moi nigga). Had the Russians not decemated the Third Reich and pushed them back into Berlin those Nazi fucks would have gotten a nice fucking sunburn same as the Japs.

Dude..let me give you a heads up about REAL russian life - You don't have shit - you're never going to get shit - half the women you're related to have either been raped or have engaged in prostitution - the life expectancy of men is 65% of what it is for women. Alcoholism in Canada doesnt even begin to comprehend what Russian alcoholism is about. In fact Russia has the highest rate of alcoholism on planet earth fucking period. Crime. Again, laughable shit when compared to Canada. Cops, cops ARE the fucking criminals in Russia. I just think its entirely ignorant and proud of you to sit in Canada and fucking judge the US or Russia as if you know what you're talking about. Honestly.

Have you ever lived in Russia? Cause I have. And guess what. Its fucking terrifying.

Have you ever lived in the US, or served in the US military, or even been a government contractor in a time of war? Cause I have, and let me tell you, its fucking terrifying.

Source: Russian speaking American/Canadian with dual citizenship and have lived in all three places.

TL;DR: Those statistics about Americans reading level is absolute nonsense, there is 0 difference between the education levels and intellectualism in the US and Canada. 25% of Americans hold a Bachelors degree or higher. Its the same for Canadians.
