The End of the Tour (2015) -- True story of a four-day long interview of David Foster Wallace by Rolling Stone writer, David Lipsky. Stars Jason Segel, Jesse Eisenberg. Directed by James Ponsoldt.

Usually the post I made, I myself would appreciate but perhaps not upvote, maybe even downvote, as yes, incoherent - as I took unusual liberty today to not reflect, edit, or care about it's impact as...it was catharsis to just react vs respond. I too felt what you had, ie, DFW wouldn't have appreciated it most likely, then, I immediately reflected upon well that control was relinquished by death, and, there's something in even a bad film if it is - as it will perhaps introduce DFW to a new generation - but then I was torn, conflicted, considered how I wonder about each and every suicide and who might be influenced to same, angered by a sea of emotion regarding DFW may have just been over the edge from a medication, a reflection upon some other passings, then commentary on art and creative works in general as a note to "put out there" for anyone as, I really do think there is much value in saying to negative comments WHAT HAVE YOU CREATED? as - I've seen people destroyed by harsh critisism and it's seemingly ALWAYS from the Non-Producers. The Trolls of life. I want to take your pan seriously ----- WHY? You have a keen eye and respect due to WHAT EXACTLY? You are able to pan this negatively because you have done same and know better could come of it? a sea, a flux, a horrible place I'm in, uncharacteristically, so, yes, perhaps DFW would hate this - but, He's Dead - he cannot comment, so who has made themselves judge / jury here on his feelings? And their qualifications , are....oh yeah, that's right, I will find myself in his shoes If I fight that, or if I combat the fact you're right, - regardless of subjectivity - people will run around calling things bad art and find many in agreement. That's what humans do.

The film has been made. It's out there. Many people contemplated it and it was not only greenlit and funded, it was wrapped.

Someone will profit from it, and some will enjoy and cherish another go around to see the perhaps twisted and not to your liking essence of DFW, and that may be the best vs the void.

you know, the thing DFW is in and we're left with. If enough people blow their fucking heads off around you, ....you have a tendancy to be a bit more kind, gentle, and more constructive if you dare to even be a critic.
