Hey, 2nd Year Computer Eng student here (basically electrical lol), and yeah I totally feel you man, I was just ranting to my friend about how garbage some of my profs are, and I had a slight family emergency and I talked to my academic counselor and she was pretty much useful, only managed to get my compsci assignment excused after 4 long emails w my prof AND counselor. I'm def not doing the best in my courses, but for me, it's mainly cause I'm just lacking a lot of motivation. I was already a big procrastinator, and this year just took it to another level. Feel free to chat w me if you need someone to rant too. I noticed I got a lot more frustrated w/ my roommates cause I'm always in my room trying to find motivation or study, while half the time they are chilling or watching TV. Are there any specific courses that you're struggling with?
