Excel & One Note

I noticed this too! I’ve recently gotten introduced to it and I want to use this down type to refresh my job skills. However, I definitely didn’t understand why or how some people use it as like ~the source of all truth~ if you will.

What are your thoughts on this: someone advocates for one note (this person uses it on their own but would like everyone to & they’re not in a leadership role). Leadership approves, then said person advocates for each employee to utilize their own one note on our systems shared drive, leadership approves. It’s not mandatory but Leadership was starting to utilize it a lot. Almost just as much as 50% of the person who uses it as a giant world map to the Bermuda Triangle. Im not really interested in seeing others one note-notebooks on the drive unless it’s password protected. What do you think the reason an employee would advocate this application so heavily when it seems to take away time from other tasks?
