Some people definitely will, there will always be some assholes in every group and there's no perfect approach to social situations, but I will say that I have given advice to a lot of people in straightforward ways and I have yet to have anyone come at me for it. I am sure it will happen eventually, there will always be a stray asshole or overly sensitive person around and a stray dingus here and there doesn't define a huge group. Usually people just ignore the advice entirely, sometimes they silently take it on and the run improves, and sometimes they thank me and maybe ask for some kind of clarification.

Usually I say things like 'btw, Holy is good dps on trash packs even after the stun wears off' or 'Cure 1 is a bit of a trap, cure 2 is better' or 'Tank, it's good to keep the mobs in that sandy circle' which yes, is taking a bit of consideration in how I present the advice, but is hardly slobbing knob and it is pretty direct, I think. It also doesn't really take longer to type. If my goal is to improve the run and maybe educate someone so there's one less person doing something that annoys me filling up the DF queues, then I try to take the approach that is more likely to actually be heard. Honestly it's not even just me being a kind person, it's selfish because I want them to fucking stop doing whatever they're doing, and I know if I come at them harshly they are far less likely to do what I want them to do.
